Power Track Price in Singapore: What You Will Actually Pay

Search for a power track in Singapore and the prices you find spread across a wide range, often with little explanation of what separates one listing from the next. That makes it hard to set a budget and harder still to compare like with like. The power track price on a product page is also only one line of the final bill, because adaptors, mounting style and installation all add to it. This guide walks through each cost line using our own published Singapore prices, so you can see where the money goes before you commit.

Concise Anwer Icon - Power Track Price in Singapore: What You Will Actually Pay

A Nexen power track in Singapore costs from S$147 for a 50cm SLIM Series track in a standard colour, rising to S$528 for a 150cm SLIM track in a premium finish. Adaptors cost S$59.90 each or S$179.70 for a pack of three. Installation is quoted per home after a free site survey, because wiring, mounting and length differ in every space.

What Sets the Power Track Price

Four things decide what you pay for the track itself: the series, the length, the finish colour and whether it sits on the surface or inside a cut-out. On top of the rail you add adaptors, the plug-in units that clip onto the track and give you a socket wherever you need one. Installation is the last line. If the idea is new to you, our power track system page shows how the rail and adaptors work together in a home or office.

Power track price comparison of SLIM and Pro Series tracks mounted above a Singapore kitchen counter

SLIM Series Track Costs by Length

The SLIM Series has a depth of 19mm and comes in 50cm, 75cm, 100cm and 150cm lengths. In black, gunmetal grey or starlight silver, the SLIM Series surface electric bar costs S$147 for 50cm, S$220 for 75cm, S$294 for 100cm and S$441 for 150cm. These prices cover the track only, with no installation included.

That works out to roughly S$2.94 per centimetre at every length. A longer SLIM track therefore carries no per-centimetre discount; you pay for the rail you actually use. This matters when you are deciding between a 100cm and a 150cm run, because the extra 50cm costs S$147 more in a standard colour, the same as buying a separate 50cm track.

Pro Series Track Costs by Length

The Pro Series uses different lengths: 60cm, 80cm, 100cm and 150cm. It also supports multimedia connectors for HDMI, Ethernet and USB, which suits a media wall or a work desk. In black or royal white, the Pro Series surface electric bar costs S$157 for 60cm, S$210 for 80cm, S$262 for 100cm and S$393 for 150cm.

At 100cm and 150cm, a standard-colour Pro track costs less than a SLIM track of the same length. At 150cm the gap is S$48. At the short end the SLIM Series starts lower, at S$147 for 50cm against S$157 for the shortest Pro track. It pays to compare both series at the length you need, rather than assuming one range is always the dearer option.

How Finish Colour Changes the Bill

Colour changes the price at every length. On the SLIM surface track, premium finishes such as light oak, oslo grey, royal white, silver oak, soft sand and vintage gold cost S$176 for 50cm and S$528 for 150cm, against S$147 and S$441 in the standard colours. At the longest length that is a difference of S$87.

On the Pro surface track, premium finishes run from S$192 at 60cm to S$480 at 150cm. If the track will sit behind a kitchen appliance or under a desk where few people see it, a standard colour keeps the power track price down without changing how the track works. Where the track runs along a feature wall, a premium finish that matches your carpentry may be worth the extra.

Surface or Recessed Mounting

A surface track mounts onto the face of a wall or cabinet, while a recessed track sits flush inside a cut-out. Recessed installation inside furniture is possible, but your carpenter needs to prepare the cut-out first, as our FAQ on pricing and installation explains. That carpentry is a separate cost from the track and from our installation.

Timing affects this choice too. A recessed track is easier to plan during a renovation, when the carpentry is being built anyway, while a surface track suits a finished home. Our article on surface vs recessed power tracks compares the two for existing homes and renovations, and covers where each one can be used.

Adaptors Complete the Setup

A track with nothing plugged into it powers nothing, so adaptors belong in every budget. Our Premium UK Adaptor costs S$59.90 each or S$179.70 for a pack of three, which is the same price per adaptor either way.

Because adaptors slide along the rail and can be moved as your needs change, you do not have to buy every adaptor on day one. Count the appliances that will run from the track at the same time, buy for that number, and add more later if your layout changes. The number of adaptors, not the track length, is often what decides whether a setup feels generous or cramped.

Installation and Site Survey Costs

Installation is priced per job rather than listed, because the work depends on where the power supply sits, what the wall or cabinet is made of and how long the track runs. We offer islandwide delivery and installation by our in-house electricians, and we recommend using our own electrical installers rather than arranging your own.

Every quote starts with a free site survey, so the figure reflects your actual layout rather than an estimate from a photo. Our design consultants also advise on placement and configuration during the visit. Custom bundles and installation packages are available too, which is worth asking about if you are fitting tracks in more than one room.

Two Worked Power Track Price Examples

Example one is a study desk. A 100cm SLIM surface track in black at S$294, plus a three-pack of Premium UK Adaptors at S$179.70, comes to S$473.70 before installation. Choose a premium finish for the same track and the total becomes S$530.70.

Example two is a kitchen counter. A 150cm Pro surface track in royal white at S$393, plus the same adaptor pack, comes to S$572.70 before installation. In a premium finish the total becomes S$659.70. Our kitchen power track guide covers where that track should sit and how much load it can take. Both examples show why the sticker on the track alone rarely tells you the real power track price for a finished setup.

Warranty Cover Included in the Price

What you pay also buys after-sales cover. Our Electric Bars carry a warranty of up to 3 years, and adaptors and accessories sold in Singapore carry 3 years, counted from the date of collection. When you compare a lower-priced listing elsewhere, check how long its warranty runs and who in Singapore will honour it, because a cheaper track with no local support can cost more over the life of the installation.

Why Certification Belongs in the Price

Part of every power track price is safety testing. In Singapore, the SAFETY Mark must be affixed on controlled goods that have been tested and certified to the relevant safety standards before they can be supplied here. Our products are registered for the Safety Mark, and our tracks are certified to BS 5733, the British standard for general electrical accessories.

The tracks also have gaps under 6mm with soft plastic flaps to prevent accidental contact. You can search “Nexen” on the government register of registered controlled goods to confirm our registration yourself. Before treating a lower-priced listing as equal, look for the same mark on it.

Getting an Exact Quote for Your Home

The quickest route to a firm figure is to prepare three answers first. Measure the wall or counter where the track will go. Count the appliances you want to run from it at the same time. Decide between a standard and a premium finish.

With those in hand, book a design consultation and our consultants will work out the track length, adaptor count and installation cost for your space in one quote. You will leave with a clear power track price for your home, not a starting figure that changes once the work begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions Icon

Q: Does the listed power track price include installation?

A: No. Prices on our product pages cover the track only. Installation is quoted separately after a free site survey, because the work depends on your power supply position, wall or cabinet material and the length of the run.

Q: Is a longer power track cheaper per centimetre?

A: Not on the SLIM Series. Each length works out to roughly S$2.94 per centimetre in a standard colour, so a 150cm track costs the same as three 50cm tracks. Buy the length your space needs rather than rounding up.

Q: Can I buy the track now and add adaptors later?

A: Yes. Adaptors clip onto the rail and slide along it, so you can start with the adaptors you need today and add more when you buy new appliances or change your layout, without replacing the track itself.

Q: Why do two tracks of the same length have different prices?

A: The finish colour. Premium finishes such as light oak or vintage gold cost more than black or silver, and on a 150cm SLIM track the difference is S$87. Mounting style can also add carpentry costs.
