Winnie and Kevin, the duo behind #couplecomedy, are truly a match made in heaven. As both are self-employed, their home needed to balance aesthetics with functionality. For Winnie, who has a keen eye for design, a minimalist and clean style was essential to keep their space always content-ready. Since they often film throughout their home, the sleek, white aesthetic helps minimise distractions.
“The nature of our work requires us to work from home and film content at home a lot. As for designing our first home, I wanted something very sleek, white, timeless and minimalistic. When it comes to the aesthetics, I am in charge. When it comes to the practicality, Kevin will do his part. It is a joint effort.”
While Winnie leads the design, Kevin focuses on practicality. Although Winnie and Kevin love spending time together at home, Kevin values the quiet moments when Winnie is away teaching piano. He uses this time in their home studio to brainstorm business ideas and think about ways to enhance their life together (cue the “awww!”).
